'FREE' by Antony Gormley was inspired by the theme of 'childhood'. Widely acclaimed for his sculptures, installations and public artworks that investigate the relationship of the human body to space, his work has developed the potential opened up by sculpture since the 1960s through a critical engagement with both his own body and those of others in a way that confronts fundamental questions of where human beings stand in relation to nature and the cosmos. Gormley continually tries to identify the space of art as a place of becoming in which new behaviours, thoughts and feelings can arise. Gormley's major new solo exhibition opens on 21st September at Royal Academy of the Arts until 3 December 2019.
ONE HUNDRED YEARS is a fundraising set of fine art prints that celebrates 100 years of Save the Children. Two thirds of the profits from the sale of Antony Gormley's print will be donated to Save the Children. The Save the Children Fund is a charity registered in England and Wales (213890) and Scotland (SC039570).

Work began on the 100 Years project in 2018 when we were asked by Greg Nugent (of Inc London) if we could get involved in help raise funds for, and awareness of, the Save the Children’s centenary celebrations. We had worked with Greg before to make the London 2012 official prints.
Together with Sir Nicholas Serota and Tracey Emin we invited 10 international artists to make a print which reflected broadly on the theme of childhood. As always, it’s a fascinating and exciting process developing a series of prints and seeing how different artists respond to the brief.
There has also been the added pleasure of producing the majority of the prints in our new print studio in Margate which has allowed us to give extra time and attention to creating them. The outcome of this is that we have been able to produce a truly exceptional portfolio of work.
We are proud to be involved with Save the Children. We will be donating 1/3 of the profits from sale of the prints to the charity which provide vital support for the incredibly important work that they carry our with vulnerable children around the world.
