Counter Editions is our first-ever book, marking twenty-five years of dedication to the art of printmaking.
The book surveys every limited edition print and multiple we have produced over the past quarter century: from established artists including Peter Blake, Chris Ofili, Tracey Emin, and Jenny Holzer, to a new generation of voices such as Salman Toor, Studio Lenca, Cassi Namoda and Vanessa Raw. Founded in London and now based in Margate, Counter Editions has played a defining role in the evolution of contemporary printmaking — a milestone we are proud to celebrate with this publication.
Counter Editions has been a driving force in the evolution of contemporary printmaking for 25 years. As we celebrate a quarter-century of ground-breaking work, we look forward to continuing our legacy of excellence and pushing the boundaries of artistic expression.
Over the course of the year, we have celebrated this milestone through an overiew presentation at the London Original Print Fair, where we launched new editions by Tracey Emin and Salman Toor; a series of print launches with Studio Lenca, Anthony Cudahy, Vanessa Raw, Tunji Adeniyi-Jones, Katherine Bernhardt, Cassi Namoda, Billy Childish and Clare Woods; a major survey exhibition at Carl Freedman Gallery and are now concluding the celebrations with the publication of our limited edition book with unique screenprinted covers.
