Katherine Bernhardt (born 1975, Missouri), represented by the influential David Zwirner, is a key player in New York's contemporary painting scene. She's collaborated with hip-hop superstar Drake, painted a swimming pool in Miami, created a public mural in LA, and runs her own Moroccan carpet import business. Bernhardt's recent solo shows include the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, Lever House New York as well as European solo exhibitions at Xavier Hufkens, Brussels and Carl Freedman, London and Margate. She lives and works in St Louis, Missouri.

Billy Childish (born 1959, Chatham) is an extraordinary and prolific artist. His paintings, woodcuts, poetry, writing and music share a common honesty that, rather than being nombrilistic, is deeply compelling and idiosyncratic. Childish's practice is informed by a tireless curiosity for themes as varied as war, the history and topography of his local and personal environment, social protest, hill walking and religious philosophy. Without the need for validation or approval from the art world, Childish has developed an authentic, independent and defiant position within culture that is admired by many worldwide.

Tracey Emin (born 1963) is a British visual artist who shares her time between the South of France, London and Margate. Always at the centre of her own world, Tracey Emin uses all aspects of her life in her art, turning intimate autobiography into broader statements about sex, love, death, freedom and everyday life. Her work has taken the form of diaristic drawings, paintings, films, sculptures and written stories, all of which convey the same combination of frustration, pain, compassion and wit. Drawing and printmaking have remained key mediums for Emin, and over the last ten years she has produced a steady output of monotype prints direct from her drawings.

Eddie Martinez (born 1977, Groton Naval Base, Conneticut) lives and works in New York. Martinez has gained international recognition for his extraordinary use of line and manipulation of colour, which he applies aggressively and in vividly contrasting combinations to his paintings and sculptures. Working between representation and abstraction, he paints in oil, enamel, and spray paint while often incorporating found objects, in a fast-paced practice that could be compared to automatism. Martinez has exhibited extensively around the world and his work has been featured in Modern Painters, ARTINFO, The New York Times, ArtReview, The Brooklyn Rail, and Art in America.

Cassi Namoda (born 1988, Mozambique) is a painter whose work transfigures the cultural mythologies and historical narratives of life in post-colonial Africa, particularly those of the artist’s native Mozambique. Namoda's work has been included in exhibitions at Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute, New York; Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts, New York and CFHILL, Stockholm as well as held in the public collection of the Pérez Art Museum Miami. Namoda has also been the subject of profiles in Cultured Magazine, Kaleidoscope, Artnet, and Vogue.

Peter Saul (born 1934, San Fransisco) is a painter and printmaker celebrated for his satirical commentaries on political, social, and historical events in American history. Saul attended the California School of Fine Arts in San Francisco and received a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis. At 87 years old, Saul continues to make paintings that feel urgent to our time. Throughout his over six-decade career, the artist has addressed critical topics of the day with unbridled courage. Nothing is too sacred to be mocked, including American post-war consumerism, the Vietnam War, the trial of Angela Davis, American politics, Saddam Hussein, and the art world itself.

Stanley Whitney (born 1946, Philadelphia) lives and works in New York City and Eastern Long Island, New York. Whitney is renowned for his horizontal bands, multi-hued blocks and all-over fields of gestural marks which reinvent the grid. His stacks of colour are at once expansive, bold, rhythmic and monumental. Whitney has exhibited extensively around the world, and his work has been accessioned into the permanent collections of numerous major public institutions, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, and the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C.

Jonas Wood (born 1977, Boston) paints his immediate surroundings: family and friends, domestic or studio spaces, tabletop arrangements of ceramic vessels and plants, basketballs and landscapes. Together these paintings act as an unfolding visual diary of personal memories, poignant moments alongside everyday experiences. Wood has exhibited extensively around the world with solo projects including Still Life with Two Owls, a monumental picture covering the façade of The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (2016–2018) and Shelf Still Life, High Line Billboard, High Line Art, New York (2014).
